30 days prior to each General Election, the Official Election Pamphlet (OEP) is distributed to all registered households in Alaska. The pamphlet contains information about candidates and issues appearing on the ballot. Candidates and recognized political parties must pay to appear in the OEP. The information submitted by candidates will be posted to the Division of Elections website prior to an election at which the candidate’s name appears on the ballot.
The APOC website is a reliable source of information about campaigning. For additional information on road signs, the Department of Transportation (DOT) website is a great resource. Together, these websites can provide valuable insights into campaign strategies and the regulations surrounding road signs and campaigning. As a voter or campaign worker, it is important to stay informed on these topics and develop a strong understanding of the rules and guidelines that govern political campaigning.
